New for 2008, the beautiful, clean Holiday Inn Express hotel in Loveland has 82 stylishly decorated rooms and several kinds of suite, including KidSuites and some rooms with a whirlpool bath. For relaxation visitors have use of a large indoor pool plus water slide, an exercise room and a patio/sun terrace complete with bbq grills and a fire pit, while for dining the dependable Express Start free continental breakfast is served each morning. There are several restaurants nearby, though the hotel is located in a quiet, lightly developed, mostly rural area - next to I-25 (exit 259; Crossroads Blvd), but 7 miles from the center of Loveland. Four closer sites, all within 2 miles, are the Budweiser Events Center, Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport, Promenade Shops at Centerra and Loveland Prime Outlets.

Next door to the Holiday Inn Express, and even newer, stands another modern IHG property, the all suite, extended stay Candlewood Suites Loveland, featuring 63 oversized rooms that all contain a full kitchen, DVD player, flat screen TVs and a large work desk. There is no free breakfast, but snacks and drinks can be purchased from the on site convenience store, and there are several nearby restaurants. As an alternative to in-room cooking, meals can be prepared on the grill in the outdoor gazebo. Other amenities are limited to a fitness center and guest laundry.

Part of a group of hotels five miles east of Loveland town center along US 34, the Residence Inn is the best choice in the area for those needing extended stay or all-suite accommodation; it has 103 very clean and spacious suites (king, one bed or two bed layouts), all featuring a full kitchen, large work desk, separate living area and free internet access. The hotel is just across the street from another Marriott property (Fairfield Inn), a short walk from Loveland Outlet Mall & its adjacent restaurants, half a mile south of Medical Center of the Rockies, and one mile from the Promenade Shops at Centerra. All the usual Residence Inn amenities are present: free hot breakfast, free evening reception (weekdays), pool, hot tub, sports court, 24 hour fitness center, business center, guest laundry and a meeting room.

Fairfield Inn Fort Collins Loveland is the smaller and cheaper of two adjacent Marriott hotels next to Loveland Prime Outlets Mall, beside exit 257 (US 34) of I-25 - an area that also has many restaurants. The inn receives favorable comments on account of its cleanliness, reasonable rates and high standard of customer service; although not a luxurious property, the 82 rooms are well maintained, comfortable and quiet. Guest amenities are free hot breakfast, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, hot tub and two meeting rooms.

Half the 89 rooms at Best Western Crossroads Inn have relaxing views southwards over the gardens/outdoor pool, with undeveloped farmland beyond, yet the hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and stores including those of Promenade Shops at Centerra, just the far side of I-25. The inn is one of several hotels around exit 257 (US 34) of the interstate, 4 miles east of Loveland town center. Amenities are above average; free enhanced continental breakfast is served each morning, and in the evenings guests can relax and dine in an elegant lounge/restaurant. The on site conference/banquet center has 5 meeting rooms and can accommodate events of up to 230 attendees. All the guest rooms are recently remodeled, and have upscale features like granite work surfaces.

Comfort Inn Loveland is a older but well maintained and reasonably priced hotel, along US 34 quite close to the town center, and 3 miles west of interstate 25. The surroundings are mostly quiet and residential, though various restaurants are within walking distance to the west, and the hotel is next to a hike/bike path which follows a dry wash towards the shore of Boyd Lake, one of eight tranquil lakes in this part of town. Accommodation comprises 62 spacious rooms (some containing a microwave/refrigerator), and several hot tub suites. All the expected amenities are provided; enhanced free continental breakfast, indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, games room, sun deck and a meeting room.

On the east side of Loveland, CO, the Quality Inn is easily located along highway US 34, close to plenty of restaurants and a Wal-Mart superstore, but also just 5 miles from the foothills of the Front Range. Thirty miles west, US 34 reaches Estes Park and the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The 100% non smoking hotel has a good reputation for its friendly staff, clean rooms and the free continental breakfast. There are 48 rooms available, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and extra comfortable bedding, while other facilities are an indoor pool, hot tub, free wireless internet access, a business center and guest laundry.
