Open 2010, the newest hotel in Lamar is the 75 room/suite Holiday Inn Express at 1304 N Main Street, a short walk from the Arkasnas River and a few minutes drive from shopping & dining in the downtown area. Accommodations are modern and well equipped, featuring a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, work desk and free internet access; the suites have a sofa bed and separate living area. Guests are treated to free continental breakfast each morning, including a selection of hot items. The other main facilities are an indoor pool, hot tub, 24 hour fitness center, guest laundry, business center and a meeting room.

Rodeway Inn Cow Palace is the northernmost building in Lamar, CO, and has a rural setting next to wooded land surrounding the Arkansas River, along Main Street (US 287/50). It is a large hotel with an older design - some of the 101 rooms (on 2 floors) are entered via interior corridors running along each side of a big central atrium, in which are found tropical plants, a pool, hot tub and banquet area. The full service inn also has its own restaurant & bar (free continental breakfast available), plus quite extensive meeting facilities. One other historic feature is a group of tiles in the foyer bearing the brands of 30 local ranchers who provided funds for the hotel construction, in 1972. A free local area shuttle is available to places in the town center, 2 miles south. The rooms are extra large & comfortable, and some are equipped with a microwave & refrigerator.

The Days Inn has a semi-rural setting on the north side of Lamar next to wooded land surrounding the Arkansas River, along Main Street (US 287/50); rooms have views over the surrounding fields and hills. The place is a typically clean, well managed and affordable establishment, offering facilities of free continental breakfast, an indoor pool/hot tub and a fitness center. All accommodations include a refrigerator and microwave; also available are several types of suite.

Lamar's two storey, interior corridor Super 8 motel sits along Main Street at the north edge of town, near to several other lodges, a gas station, and a small selection of shops & restaurants, though most facilities in town are between 1 and 2 miles south. Rates are low, reflecting the limited amenities, of free continental breakfast and free internet access, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are nice and clean.
