The Comfort Inn hotel in Delta is located on the north side of town at 180 Gunnison River Dr, one block west of US 50 and, as the street name implies, within sight of the tree-lined Gunnison River. Also within walking distance are at least 6 restaurants, several shops and the local recreation center, which offers tennis, swimming, basketball and a sauna. All guests are eligible for a free entry pass. One of the nearest major attractions is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, 35 miles away along US 50

Formerly the Southgate Inn, Delta's new Rodeway Inn provides good value accommodation in a small (37 room) building right at the south edge of town along S Main St (US 50) - in a generally rural neighborhood close to the Uncompahgre River. Like most motels of this type, amenities are limited to free continental breakfast, a hot tub and an outdoor pool, though the inn does provide a microwave & refrigerator in every room, plus a whirlpool bath in some of them. There are a few fast food restaurants next door, with a better selection in the center of Delta, 1.5 miles north.
