Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area > Map
The three sections of Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area are reached by short drives from Redding; the Shasta Unit is between 10 and 27 miles north on interstate 5, with Shasta Dam a little way west, the Whiskeytown Unit is 8 miles west along Hwy 299, while the south end (Lewistown Lake) of the more remote Trinity Unit is 21 miles further west.
