Panoramic Photograph of Tomales Bay

Pacific Ocean fog lingers over Inverness Ridge on Point Reyes Peninsula, the east side of which slopes quite steeply down to the tranquil waters of Tomales Bay. This view is from Millerton Point, in the east segment of Tomales Bay State Park, and is centered on the small village on Inverness, whose houses, piers and marinas sit at the foot of a densely wooded hillside.
