Salt Point State Park > QTVR Panorama This panorama shows some of the colorful sandstone rocks along the Pacific Ocean coastline in Salt Point State Park; most of the area is a smooth terrace, though other parts have eroded into hoodoos and ridges. The surface of some of the rocks forms a delicate and unusual honeycomb structure known as tafoni; one example can be seen on the east side (inland). To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
