Lava Beds National Monument > QTVR Panorama A view from the top of Schonchin Butte, just west of the fire lookout tower, looking south along the scenic drive to its junction with Medicine Lake Road. Other volcanic buttes are scattered over the wooded land to the west, while the north is flatter and more open.
