Crumbaugh Lake is 1.2 miles south of the Kings Creek picnic area, reached by an easy trail. Half of the crescent-shaped lake is surrounded by the pine forest, and half by a big area of marshy grassland; beyond are several peaks including Mount Conrad to the south and Bumpass Mountain to the northwest.
