Lassen Volcanic National Park > Hiking > Bumpass Hell > QTVR Panorama This panorama is taken from near the east end of the boardwalk trail across Bumpass Hell. The large hot spring beside the path is East Pyrite Pool, a very active feature whose waters are topped by a silvery layer of iron pyrite deposits. On the other side, the trail passes the less violent East Pyrite Pool, filled with cloudy grey water. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
