Lake Tahoe > QTVR Panorama Baldwin is the largest and best of three sandy beaches on the west side of South Lake Tahoe - 4 miles from the town center along Highway 89. High mountains of the Desolation Wilderness rise just inland, most prominent being Rubicon Peak, the two Maggies Peaks and Mt Tallac, while the more distant summits of the Carson Range are visible to the south and east, on the far side of the lake. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
