The summit is reached by a 20 minute walk from the parking area at the end of the Keys View road, and overlooks many square miles of the park to the north and east. In the other direction and 4,500 feet lower stretches the flat Coachella Valley, where the distant suburbs of Palm Springs are just about visible.
