Recently opened (2008), the Best Western hotel brings affordable, quality lodging to Yucca Valley and makes a good base from which to explore Joshua Tree National Park - the west entrance is just 6 miles away along Highway 62, while in the other direction, a 30 mile drive south reaches Palm Springs and the San Jacinto Mountains. The handsome three storey hotel has two accommodation blocks containing 95 well furnished rooms, some with one or more of a kitchenette, sofa bed and hot tub bath. All have a HD TV and free internet access. The free breakfast includes hot items like sausage & eggs; for other meals there are a couple of nearby restaurants though a better selection can be found a mile or so east in the center of Yucca Valley. For relaxation the Best Western offers the usual pool, hot tub and fitness center.

Fully renovated after being acquired by Wyndham Hotels in 2010, the pet friendly Travelodge Inn Yucca Valley offers 64 exterior corridor rooms, a large outdoor pool in a courtyard garden, free wi-fi and free continental breakfast. Accommodation choices include courtyard rooms, balcony rooms and kitchenette suites. There is one restaurant on site and others in the town center, half a mile east along Hwy 62. The inn is 13 miles from the Monument Road entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.
