Summer 2010 saw the opening of a new TownePlace Suites hotel in Vista, providing affordable, good quality all-suite/extended stay accommodation to visitors to the north San Diego area. The inn is built along Melrose Drive, in a mixed residential/business district 2 miles from the 78 freeway and 5.5 miles from interstate 5. Suites are available in studio, one bed or two bed configurations, all with a full kitchen, separate sleeping/living areas, an executive desk and free internet access; other facilities include a convenience store, business center, fitness center, indoor-outdoor connecting pool, hot tub and bbq area.
