Facilities are comprehensive and the accommodation is very well presented - the 213 rooms & suites are bright, spacious, modern, and feature upscale amenities like granite counter tops, Egyptian cotton towels and extra luxurious bedding. The Courtyard Cafe/Bar is open for breakfast & dinner, though room service is available 24 hours a day. The 14 storey building also contains a fitness center, business center and 15,000 sq ft of meeting/event space, including the Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 540. A fine view of the neighborhood can be appreciated from the 3rd floor rooftop pool.

Although it has an older design, with its 181 clean & spacious rooms in several lengthy, exterior corridor blocks overlooking the parking lot, Best Western Carriage Inn is a popular and quite fully featured hotel, also offering an outdoor heated pool, hot tub, cocktail lounge, fitness center and guest laundry. Meals are available 24 hours a day at the on site Denny's restaurant, though unusually for a Best Western there is no free breakfast for all, only for residents of the Business Plus rooms. The hotel is situated near the middle of the San Fernando Valley along Sepulveda Blvd - right next to I-405, a mile north of Sherman Oaks Galleria Mall and 12 miles from the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area.
