The newly built Holiday Inn Express opened in summer 2008 and has become the top hotel in San Dimas; the 68 rooms & suites are very clean, comfortable and modern, and they have good quality furniture, including an LCD TV, a full size sofa, a work desk and a kitchenette. Some have views of the enclosed courtyard garden and outdoor pool, while others look out over the generally quiet neighborhood, a mixture of shops and business premises on the west side of town, one block from the 57 Freeway and 1.5 miles south of the junction with I-210. Wireless internet access and hot breakfast are both free, with other meals available from many nearby restaurants, along Arrow Highway. The other main facilities at the hotel are guest laundry, a hot tub, bbq grills, convenience store and a 30-person meeting room.

Centerpiece of Comfort Suites San Dimas is a secluded courtyard garden featuring palm trees, tropical plants, a hot tub and outdoor pool, at the center of a fairly new and well presented building that also contains a two-floor fireplace lobby, gift shop, guest laundry, meeting room, cocktail lounge and a dining area for the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast. Free drinks are provided each evening at the manager's reception, and for other dining choices there are plenty of restaurants along nearby Arrow Highway. The hotel's 60 oversized rooms all contain a refrigerator/microwave, and are comfortable & spacious. The closest shopping center is half a mile away, on the far side of the 57 Freeway.
