The Holiday Inn in Mammoth Lakes is one of the closest hotels to highway 395, occupying quite a large site along Main Street towards the east side of town, in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with various restaurants and shops. 72 rooms & suites are available, most with views over the wooded mountains that surround the town. The lakes, Mammoth Mountain ski area and the Inyo National Forest are a short drive away, and the hotel is close to two national parks (36 miles from the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite and 6 miles from Devils Postpile). On site are both a restaurant (Cafe 203) serving breakfast & dinner, and the Pine Crest Bar for drinks, snacks, games or just watching TV; other amenities are an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, guest laundry and a gift shop.

Quality Inn Mammoth Lakes
At 3537 Main St (south side), the Quality Inn Mammoth Lakes is a few blocks east of the town center and within a mile of most important sites in town. Free continental breakfast is served, while for other meals there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away, and shops including the Mammoth Lakes Luxury Outlets. The inn has 59 rooms with interior corridors on 2 floors, linked by elevators to an underground parking area. For relaxing there is a large hot tub, but no swimming pool. All the rooms contain a microwave & refrigerator, coffee maker & ironing facilities. Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is 4 miles west along CA 203, served by local area shuttle.

Econo Lodge Wildwood Inn
The Econo Lodge motel has a central location in Mammoth Lakes, at 3626 Main Street (CA 203), with most of its 32 rooms having views towards the forested hills that rise to the north. Within walking distance along Main St are a selection of shops & restaurants, the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, and Mammoth Luxury Outlets mall. The tree-lined inn has a small outdoor pool/hot tub, newsstand and dining area serving free continental breakfast. Rooms are on 2 floors, with exterior corridors, and most contain a microwave & refrigerator.

Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada
Offering some of the cheapest lodging in Mammoth Lakes, the Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada has a relatively quiet setting in a neighborhood of trees, shops, restaurants and private residences along Old Mammoth Road, towards the east side of town. The place is large (156 rooms), quite old, and has a fair range of facilities, including an outdoor pool, tennis courts, sun deck, sauna and hot tub. Some larger rooms are available featuring a fireplace and mini kitchen. Free continental breakfast is provided to all guests.
