Guests at the full service, 292 room Holiday Inn Select La Mirada appreciate the central location (about half way between downtown Los Angeles and Anaheim/Orange) and the proximity to interstate 5, rather than the surrounding industrial area which has nothing of interest to see. The center of La Mirada with its shops and restaurants is a 2.5 mile drive away, well within range of the hotel's complimentary ten mile radius shuttle, as are such locations as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm and Buena Park Mall. The 147 suites (two bed, one bed or studio layouts) at Residence Inn La Mirada - Buena Park are divided into seven blocks either side of the central tree-lined parking lot, and look out over a generally quiet but industrial neighborhood alongside the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5); access is from exit 118. All rooms contain a full kitchen, complete with oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/icemaker. Other hotel highlights include the free hot breakfast each morning, free evening reception (weekdays), a sports court, outdoor pool, whirlpool and four meeting rooms. Pets are welcome, for a small fee. The nearest restaurants are just a short walk away, along Firestone Blvd and Valley View Ave.
