The property sits along a fairly quiet road (Colorado St) through a residential area on the south side of Glendale, half a mile from the junction of the Ventura and Glendale Freeways; there is a supermarket opposite and several restaurants nearby. A small pool, sundeck and hot tub adjoin the parking area, while facilities inside comprise a guest laundry and a dining area for the free continental breakfast - overlooking the pool. In downtown Glendale, the budget-priced Rodeway Inn Regalodge provides guests with 25 basic but clean rooms (equipped with a refrigerator), free coffee, and use of an outdoor pool; facilities are limited but the location is good, half a block from Glendale Galleria Mall and close to many shops and restaurants along the main road through town (Brand Blvd). The motel is a cheaper alternative to Burbank hotels when visiting the Media Center/Universal Studios, 5 to 7 miles west.
