Courtyard by Marriott Foothill Ranch is a southeast Orange County hotel, close to El Toro, Lake Forest and Mission Viejo, and just a few miles from the wooded foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains, though the immediate neighborhood is a recently developed business park, centered on the junction of Portola Parkway with the 241 Toll Road. The building is typical of the newer Courtyards, with its 149 very clean & comfortable rooms contained in a handsome 4 storey building, overlooking the garden/pool area at the rear. Breakfast (not free) is available on site; for lunch/dinner the best place for restaurants nearby is 1.3 miles north along Portola, part of a shopping complex with a number of large stores. For many more choices, Irvine Spectrum Center is 7 miles west. The hotel also offers a fitness center, hot tub, laundry, business center and three meeting rooms.
