Lake Pleasant > QTVR Panorama This panorama is taken from a small hill above Pipeline Cove, an inlet on the west side of Lake Pleasant, in the foothills of the Hieroglyphic Mountains. The surrounding vegetation is typical of the Sonoran Desert, with saguaro, palo verde, buckhorn cholla and teddy bear cholla much in evidence. The upper end of the cove is crossed by the Pipeline Trail via a pontoon bridge - a walk of half a mile from the nearest road. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
