Many of these are located along the south end of Broad Street, near the single track of the Arizona Eastern Railway, which links the town with the main Union Pacific line at Clifton. Most hotels, shops and other facilities in Globe are a little way east of the center, near the junction of US 60 with US 70 from Safford.
The Holiday Inn Express is the easternmost hotel in Globe, built on the south side of US 70 just south of the US 60 intersection, part of a hilly, mostly residential neighborhood. The 72 room/suite hotel serves free hot buffet breakfast, and is just down the street from one restaurant and a short walk from many more, either side of the highway junction. Other amenities include the usual business center (open 24 hours), meeting room (700 sq ft), fitness center, complimentary wi-fi and pool. The hotel opened summer 2015.
